We are very pleased to welcome Rev Mark Fox to the ministry team at St Bride's.

He was ordained into the Church of England by the Bishop of London, Richard Chartres, in St. Paul's Cathedral in 2013.  Currently he is the Chief Executive of The Business Services Association (BSA). The BSA works across the outsourcing, business services, IT/digital services, and construction/infrastructure sectors.

As a former national newspaper journalist - Political Correspondent for the Sunday Express and the Mail on Sunday - Mark is well placed to join this media church.

Mark is an Honorary Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy and supports the Senior Service in a number of areas. including working with the charity the White Ensign Association as an Advisor and is affiliated to HMS Kent.  He is also a member of the board of London University's Birkbeck College's Centre For The Study Of British Politics And Public Life and also a Prince's Trust Mentor.

A Freeman of the City of London, Mark is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, The Linnean Society of London, and The Royal Geographical Society.
 
Mark holds degrees from three universities: B.A. (St. Mary's University), B.Th. (St. Stephen's House, Oxford University), M.Sc. (Birkbeck College, London University). He is an alumnus of the Leadership for the 21st Century: Chaos, Conflict and Courage course at the JFK School of Government, Harvard University. He undertook NCTJ training at Harlow College.

Mark is married with two children and he has previously served as a Magistrate (JP), a charity trustee, and as a governor of three schools.
